It is our conviction and credo that human beings carry the gift of being ingenious. However, this gift requires certain conditions on various levels in order to fully unfold:
Our work is based on the understanding that we operate in living systems. Understanding these properly and addressing them adequately is the basis of working with a real impact (read about how we understand the work in living systems). Our interventions take place on three levels, which are all interrelated:
- On a micro level – i.e. in an event like a workshop, a meeting, a gathering – people must find a climate, culture and opportunity of dialogue, understanding, space to unfold, respect and authenticity. We can promote and shape such events through facilitation (which includes the purposeful design of events);
- On the meso level – in the workplace, in an institution, in an organisation – people also need a culture and environment of possibilities, of sharing and cooperating, of contributing to meaningful purposes, of recognition – many aspects are dealt with under the umbrella of knowledge sharing (and innovation management for that matter) and we can actively manage parts of this;
- On a macro level – in society at large, people need to have their rights fulfilled – human rights define the conditions that human beings need to unfold their full potential. These include all aspects: social, economical but also personal rights and freedoms, which allow them to think freely with a full stomach, to be promoted (through education and a lively culture); in short to live a life in full dignity – we can contribute to the creation of such a society by promoting human rights.
